left and not to the right as is depicted in the mural.
The reason why the mural of the Senmut tomb does not correspond with the
situation in the sky is that the graphical representation was meant to symbolically
depict the Galactic Alignment. The Sun and Milky Way actually should have
appeared left of Orion, but it would have destroyed the simplicity and symbolism
of the Leg of the Bull theme in the mural.
