Hughes: Was that really helpful?<br />

<strong>Dimmick</strong>: Oh sure, it refreshes the things you<br />

knew and lost, or that you hadn’t practiced. I<br />

mean, I’d been doing traffic and small claims, very<br />

minimal civil cases.<br />

Hughes: What are some <strong>of</strong> the first big cases<br />

where you thought, “This is really interesting”?<br />

<strong>Dimmick</strong>: Well, we were heavy on the criminal<br />

cases. I had some inkling <strong>of</strong> that because I had<br />

the small criminals where I was, so you get<br />

through that. Picking a jury was what I had to<br />

learn how to do because we didn’t have jury<br />

trials in District Court. So you had to get comfortable with that, all the people in there,<br />
