Provided that no Bye-laws shall be made affecting adversely the
condition of residence, health or discipline of students, conditions and

Legal Proceedings
i) For the purpose of the Societies Registrar Act, 1860, the person in whose
name the Vidyapeetha may sue or be sued shall be the Kulasachiv.

No suit or legal proceedings ahall lie against the government of India or
University Grants Commission or Vidyapeetha or an officer of the
Vidyapeetha or a member of an authority of the Vidyapeetha in respect
of any thing done or purported or intended to be done in pursuance of
any article of Memorandum of Association or the Rules or the Bye-laws
made thereunder.
Interpretation Clause
i) In the event of the conflict of opinion with regard to the interpretation of
Memorandum of Association or the Rules and Bye-laws, the opinion of the
