LIBRARIAN: The Librarian is the custodian of the books and publications in the Library. His functions are a. to issue and collect books to and from the students; b. to maintain catalogues for books in the Library; c. to keep the manuscripts in good condition; d. to supervise the functioning of INFLIBNET; e. to forward recommendations of the Library Advisory Committee for purchase of new books for the Library and f. such other functions as may be assigned to him from time to time. * * * * * 12
MANUAL III Section 4(1)(b)(iii) The PROCEDURE FOLLOWED IN THE DECISION MAKING PROCESS, INCLUDING CHANNELS OF SUPERVISION AND ACCOUNTABILITY I. Authorities of the Vidyapeetha The following shall be the authorities of the Vidyapeetha:- Shishta Parishad i) Shista Parishad ii) Karya Parishad iii) Vidwat Parishad iv) Vitta Samiti v) Yojana Evam Anushravan Mandal vi) Adhyayan Mandal The Shishta Parishad of the Vidyapeetha shall consist of the following: i) Kuladhipati ii) iii) iv) Kulapati Sama-Kulapati Vice Chancellor of Venkateswara University v) Vice Chancellor of Madras University vi) vii) viii) ix) Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams One person nominated by the Chairman, University Grants Commission. Two persons to represent the concerned Ministry/Department of Government of India of which one will be the Financial Adviser. One person representing the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi x) One Professor, One Reader and one Lecturer of the Vidyapeetha to be nominated by the Kuladhipati by rotation in order of seniority. xi) xii) xiii) xiv) One representative to be nominated by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. One representative of the Department of Culture, Government of India. One Vice chancellor of the Sanskrit Universities and Deemed to be Universities/to be nominated by the Government of India by rotation.
