9. There are so many <strong>for</strong>ces in this world today that are against God.<br />
10. We should meditate on the little helpless body <strong>of</strong> Jesus. We should think<br />
<strong>of</strong> how much He loves us that He came to this earth <strong>and</strong> He took on a<br />
human body.<br />
The Presentation in the Temple<br />
1. Joseph <strong>and</strong> Mary took the Child Jesus to the Temple.<br />
2. When they arrived the old man, Simeon, greeted them. He told Joseph<br />
<strong>and</strong> Mary <strong>of</strong> the sufferings <strong>of</strong> Jesus <strong>and</strong> Mary to come.<br />
3. Mary kept all these things tucked in her heart.<br />
4. Let us think about the love between the Child Jesus <strong>and</strong> His beloved<br />
Mother.<br />
5. Simeon told Mary, “<strong>and</strong> a sword will pierce your soul too—so that the secret<br />
thoughts <strong>of</strong> many may be laid bare.” (Lk. 2:35)<br />
6. Mary walks by our sides where ever we go; we must remember that. We<br />
must remember how much she loves us.<br />
7. Let us carry our crosses with such love, <strong>for</strong> it is in the cross that we are<br />
given a greater sharing in His life.<br />
8. We see the love between the Hearts <strong>of</strong> Jesus <strong>and</strong> Mary. The Child Jesus<br />
was carried within her womb. Now she holds Him tenderly within her<br />
arms.<br />
9. Whenever we think <strong>of</strong> Mary <strong>and</strong> Jesus, we should ask the Holy Spirit to<br />
help us to know more <strong>and</strong> more about God.<br />
10. We should ask <strong>for</strong> help in praying the rosary with all our hearts.<br />
Jesus Is Found in the Temple<br />
1. Think <strong>of</strong> Mary <strong>and</strong> Joseph <strong>and</strong> what it was like <strong>for</strong> them when they<br />
realized that the Child Jesus had been left behind.<br />
2. They returned to find Jesus. Their hearts were filled with sorrow.<br />
3. Mary is our Mother. God is our Father. Think <strong>of</strong> how many children<br />
today are lost. They do not know their heavenly Father <strong>and</strong> Mother.<br />
4. We were created to know, love, <strong>and</strong> serve God.<br />
5. Jesus wants us to have a deep love relationship with Him.<br />
6. How many children are lost today? They do not even know that they<br />
are lost.<br />
7. We should pray <strong>for</strong> all <strong>of</strong> our brothers <strong>and</strong> sisters in the human family<br />
everyday.<br />
8. Think <strong>of</strong> how it would be to live without God.<br />
9. Many <strong>of</strong> Mary’s children today are living without God <strong>and</strong> they are living<br />
in darkness.
