Using the <strong>ATEM</strong> 2 M/E Broadcast Panel<br />
Menu Buttons<br />
The matrix of menu buttons are organized into a multi level tree structure of pages that are very easy to<br />
navigate. To assist in rapid navigation all menu pages have a HOME button at the bottom right and most<br />
operations only require navigating down one level.<br />

Joystick and M/E Pattern and Key Buttons<br />
You can use the joystick to quickly control keys and transitions by selecting the button corresponding to the<br />
M/E you are using and the parameter you wish to adjust.<br />

By selecting the M/E 1 PATT or M/E 2 PATT button, you can quickly get joystick control over size and the<br />
horizontal and vertical aspects of your selected transition.<br />
M/E KEY<br />
M/E KEY: You can quickly move and resize upstream keys by selecting this button in the desired M/E when<br />
the KEY button is selected in the System Control Block of buttons.<br />

The Number Pad is used to enter numerical data. For example, when setting the transition rate, the number<br />
pad can be used to enter a numerical value. When entering data using the number pad, the soft buttons<br />
below each parameter are used to apply the entered data to that parameter.<br />
The joystick and numeric keypad are shared between the M/E 1 and M/E 2 control blocks. They are contextsensitive<br />
which means any adjustments you make with them will solely be applied to the M/E control block<br />
in which you are currently working.<br />
