QUOTATION CALL NOTICE
Sealed Quotations are invited from the eligible intending Reputed Manufactures of
UPVC Doors & windows (Fenesta, Wintech or equivalent make)/Authorized Dealers for
“Supply & fixing of UPVC Windows with 5 mm frosted glass (as per tentative size and type
indicated in the Bid Document) for “National Institute of Fashion Technology Bhubaneswar”.
The manufactures can submit their Quotation through their authorized Dealers/ Distributor inside Odisha .
1. The Quotation call notice along with bid document will be available in our
website www.idco.in (Media Release) with effect from 11.00 hours of
04.06.2012 to 5.00 hours of 15.06.2012. 27.07.2011.
2. The Quotation submitted in sealed packet is to contain the filled up Bid
document, photo copy of valid VAT-611 registration& 612 clearance
certificate& PAN. All the photo copies should be self attested by the
quotationer. The said documents are subject to verification with the original
during scrutiny.
3. The filled up quotation should reach the undersigned on or before 20.06.2012 by
3.00 PM positively by Speed Post/Regd. Post only. Quotation so received will be
opened on the same day at 4.00pm in the presence of the Quotationers or their
authorized representatives if any. If the office happens to be closed on the
stipulated date of opening of the quotation as specified, the bid will be opened
on the next working day.
4. The Quotationer has to deposit a Demand Draft amounting Rs.6300/- (Rupees
Six thousand Three Hundred only ) drawn in favour of “Orissa Industrial
Infrastructure Development Corporation” payable at Bhubaneswar towards the
cost of bid document (Non Refundable along with the quotation. The successful
bidder has to deposit 2% of the value of the supply order as EMD, which will be
refunded after end of one year period after successful completion of work.
5. The Quotationers are required to quote their price including cost of all taxes,
cess, carriage & installation at site as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge,
complete. The maximum time allowed for supplying & fixing of the Windows is
30 (Thirty) days from the date of issue of purchase order. The validity period of
quotation is 180 days from the date of opening of the Quotation
6. The bid document (Details of UPVC Windows to be supplied and Terms and
conditions of supply) can be downloaded from our web site. The bidders are to
fill up the rates at the appropriate place and sign the BOQ and Terms &
Condition.

7. The Authority reserves right to cancel any or all bids without assigning any
reason thereof.

Terms & Conditions
1. Scope: The rate covers, supply, delivery, & fixing of the UPVC windows at
“National Institute of Fashion Technology Bhubaneswar inclusive of all taxes
& Cess. The quoted rate will stand valid for 180 days from the date of opening of
the quotation. 31.10.2011.
2. Delivery: The materials shall be delivered & fixed at site (As directed by the
Engineer in charge) within 30(Thirty) days from the date of issue of the purchase
order. The supplier is to take the exact measurement of the windows from site
before manufacturing so that there will be no deviation from the requirement .The
size indicated in the BOQ may vary within 2-3 % from the size.
3. Terms of Payment: Full & Final payment will be made on successful completion
of delivery and satisfactory installation at site.
4. Payment Officer: The payment will be made by the Executive Engineer, IDCO,
IIT Division, Bhubaneswar. The bill along with other documents may be handed
over to the consignee with a copy to the undersigned.
5. Inspection & Testing: The materials will be inspected on delivery at the
destination by the Authorized Officer of IDCO.
6. Technical Particulars: The materials to be supplied should be strictly in the line
with the relevant specification as given in the DTCN under specifications.
7. The supplier has to give guarantee/warrantee certificate for the materials supplied.
8. Damaged materials will not be accepted by us under any circumstance.
9. The defect liability period of the supplied windows is ten years. Any defect found
during the defect liability period is to be repaired free of cost/ replaced by the
supplier within ten years from the date of supply of the material. The supplier has
to produce a Guarantee Certificate in this respect from the original manufacturer.
10. Jurisdiction of Court: Suits, if any arising out of the contract shall be deemed to
have been entered into Bhubaneswar under the jurisdiction of Orissa High Court.
11. Liquidated damage: In case the supplier/manufacturer/ distributor fails to
supply the required material within the approved time schedule, penalty will be
levied and will be recovered @ 1/2% on the value of work lagging behind for every
week delay in supply of the above material. The penalty will be however be limited
to maximum 5% of the approved value of the supply order.
