TENDER CALL NOTICE<br />

1. The Officer in-Charge, OCAC Tower, <strong>IDCO</strong>, <strong>IDCO</strong> Towers, Janpath, Bhubaneswar invites tender<br />

for “Supply, erection, testing and Commissioning of 13 passenger Gearless Elevators including<br />

Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for 5(five) years after expiry of the guarantee period for OCAC<br />

Tower at Acharya Vihar, Bhubaneswar” from the Elevator Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs)/<br />

their authorized distributors for the work as detailed in the table below. The proof of past<br />

experience in executing similar works shall be enclosed along with the Bid.<br />

2. The Tender documents may be purchased during office hours from the office of the Officer In-<br />

Charge, OCAC Tower, <strong>IDCO</strong>, Bhubaneswar / Dy. General Manager, OCAC, Acharya Vihar,<br />

Bhubaneswar / Divisional Head, G.A. Qtrs. Division, <strong>IDCO</strong>, at Crech Building, near Infocity Gate,<br />

Chandaka <strong>Industrial</strong> Estate, Bhubaneswar up to 15.00Hrs from Dt.24.10.2011 to Dt.02.11.2011<br />

during working days only on production of valid PAN, Registration Certificate on VAT-611 &<br />

clearance certificate on VAT- 612 and valid EPF registration certificate.<br />

3. Bid documents consisting of detailed specifications, the schedule of quantities, terms & conditions<br />

of contract and other necessary Documents can be seen in the website at www.idco.in /<br />

www.ocac.in.<br />

4. Bid documents will be available at in the websites www.idco.in / www.ocac.in from 24.10.2011 to<br />

02.11.2011 to download bid documents for participation in the tender.<br />

5. Bids must be accompanied by Earnest Money Deposit & cost of bid document (if downloaded from<br />

website) in shape of demand draft payable at Bhubaneswar or in shape of a Bank Guarantee in<br />

the prescribed format with validity 45 days beyond validity of the bid from any Nationalized /<br />

Scheduled Bank in favour of “<strong>Orissa</strong> <strong>Industrial</strong> <strong>Infrastructure</strong> <strong>Development</strong> <strong>Corporation</strong>”.<br />

6. Bids must be accompanied with copies of experience certificate, clearance certificate on VAT-612,<br />

PAN, valid EPF registration certificate, Solvency Certificate for Rs.100.00 lakh from a Nationalized /<br />

Scheduled Bank, Certified copy of balance sheet for last five years having average annual turnover<br />

of Rs.200.00 lakh or more per annum and other relevant documents as specified in the Bid<br />

document.


7. The bidder should have executed similar nature of works value not less than Rs.75.00 lakh in a<br />

single agreement having executed at least three Govt. / Quasi Govt. / reputed corporate houses<br />

during last five years and also have to produce necessary completion certificate from the<br />

concerned client. Application from joint venture is not acceptable.<br />

8. A Pre-Bid Meeting with intended Bidders will be held at newly constructed OCAC Tower, Acharya<br />

Vihar, Bhubaneswar on Dt.09.11.2011 at 15.00 Hrs.<br />

9. The sealed tender of Packet-1 super scribing “Technical Offer” containing Bid Document and the<br />

cost of Bid document (if downloaded from website), EMD and attested copies of Experience<br />

Certificate, Clearance Certificate on VAT-612, PAN, Valid EPF registration, solvency certificate of<br />

Rs.100.00 Lakh from a Nationalized / Scheduled Bank, certified copies of balance sheet for last 5<br />

years having average turnover of Rs.200.00 Lakh or more and Packet – 2 contain BOQ super<br />

scribing “Financial Offer” should be kept inside one packet super scribing on top (Tender for the<br />

Work : “Supply, erection, testing and Commissioning of 13 passenger Gearless Elevators including<br />

Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for 5(five) years after expiry of the guarantee period for<br />

OCAC Tower at Acharya Vihar, Bhubaneswar” so as to reach the same to Divisional Head, G.A.<br />

Qtrs. Division, <strong>IDCO</strong> at Crech Building, near Infocity Gate, Chandaka <strong>Industrial</strong> Estate,<br />

Bhubaneswar on or before 18.11.2011 upto 16.00 Hrs through registered post / speed post only.<br />

10. The Technical offer of the bid will be opened on 21.11.2011 at 11.00Hrs in the Office of the<br />

Divisional Head, G.A. Qtrs. Division, <strong>IDCO</strong>, at Crech Building, Near Infocity Gate, Chandaka<br />

<strong>Industrial</strong> Estate, Bhubaneswar in presence of bidder or their representative who wish to attend.<br />

The date and time of opening of financial bid will be communicated by registered post / speed<br />

post to the technical qualified bidders after scrutiny of Technical bids.<br />

11. If the Office happens to be closed on the date of last sale / receipt / opening of bids as specified,<br />

the bids will be sold / received / opened on the next working day at the same time & venue.<br />

12. Other details can be seen in the office of the Officer in Charge, OCAC Tower, <strong>IDCO</strong>, during office<br />

hours except Sunday & holidays till the last date of sale of tender paper.<br />

13. The undersigned will not be responsible for any loss, damage and delay if any for the delivery of<br />

the documents or non receipt of the same within the stipulated period.<br />

14. The authority reserves right to cancel any or all bids without assigning any reason thereof.<br />
