The maximum ouput of an engine is such standard power as developed by the engine, after its initial break in period with all<br />
the m,oving parts properly worn in, when operating with a fully open throttle valve. Therefore, a new engine may not develop<br />
the maximum output in the beginning because the moving parts are not in a properly worn-in condition.<br />
