<strong>Louis</strong> <strong>University</strong> <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong>. This brochure<br />

describes many of the Mothers’ <strong>Club</strong><br />

volunteer opportunities for the <strong>2011</strong>-<strong>2012</strong><br />

school year.<br />

Please fill out the attached Volunteer Interest<br />

Form and return it via one of two ways:<br />

1) mail it to school by August 9, OR<br />

2) go to www.sluh.org , click on Parents,<br />

then on Mothers’ <strong>Club</strong>, then “Click<br />

HERE to sign up for Volunteer<br />

Activities”.<br />

We will make these names available to the<br />

Committee Chairs and you can determine<br />

your level of involvement.<br />

If you have any changes to your phone or e-<br />

mail address information, please email us or<br />

call the Mothers’ <strong>Club</strong> office and leave a<br />

message. This will help us communicate<br />

information about upcoming Mothers’ <strong>Club</strong><br />

events and other <strong>SLUH</strong> information.<br />

Volunteer Opportunities<br />

Adoration<br />

Participate in Adoration held every week<br />

day from 8:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. during<br />

Advent and Wednesday mornings during<br />

Lent.<br />

Back to <strong>School</strong> Night-August 24*<br />

Help the Hospitality chairperson<br />

coordinate and serve refreshments after<br />

this informative meeting.<br />

Billiken Bookstore*<br />

Help the bookstore ladies sell <strong>SLUH</strong> items<br />

at various events throughout the year.<br />

Card Party – October 16*<br />

Help organize, set up, work the event, or<br />

clean up after the fall Card Party.<br />

Choir/Play Musical Instrument*<br />

Sing or play a musical instrument at one<br />

or more of the Mothers’ <strong>Club</strong> liturgies or<br />

prayer services.<br />

Community Outreach*<br />

Help with community service projects.<br />

Cookbook*<br />

Help sell the <strong>SLUH</strong> Cookbooks at<br />

Mothers’ <strong>Club</strong> events.<br />

Graduation Dinner – May 26*<br />

Plan, set-up and serve dinner to the<br />

Class of <strong>2012</strong> and their parents.<br />

Assist the Hospitality chair serve<br />
