directly c<strong>on</strong>cerned, <strong>the</strong> El Paso Brewery<br />

also opened in 1903. Dieter purchased <strong>the</strong><br />

brewery <strong>on</strong> March 14, 1905, <strong>and</strong> formed a<br />

corporati<strong>on</strong> to run it (see Lockhart 2004d<br />

for a history <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> brewery).<br />
