Superior laryngeal nerve<br />

<strong>The</strong> superior laryngeal nerve supplies the only muscle of the larynx which is not supplied<br />

by the recurrent laryngeal nerve: the cricothyroid muscle, an adductor muscle of the larynx.<br />

Like the recurrent laryngeal nerve, the superior laryngeal nerve is a branch of the vagus<br />

nerve.<br />
