Direct laryngoscopy<br />

Direct laryngoscopy is the procedure where a laryngoscope is used to expose the vocal<br />

cords, usually for the purposes of endotracheal intubation.<br />

Direct laryngoscopy is performed using a laryngoscope and is usually done while the patient<br />

is under general anesthesia.<br />
