liberalization of the labor market, employment
policies, illegal work, and tax cuts. The various
points of views will get closer to each other.
H1, H2, H3 and H4 refer to all of the survey
polls, while H5 refers only to the pre-and
post- deliberation polls.
2.4. Regulation versus liberalization of the
labor market
First, we will discuss the issue of labor market
deregulation. This question was measured on a
seven degree scale. The first degree means the
respondent strongly agrees with the following
statement: Governments should let employers
hire and fire as they see fit. The seventh degree
means that the respondent strongly agrees with
the following statement: Governments should
make it very difficult for employers to fire. The
results of each questioning session are shown
in Table 32.
