ATTITUDES TOWARDS LABOUR MARKET
REGULATION IN HUNGARY
The majority of respondents cannot say
explicitly whether social measures should be
diminished and, with that, the taxation level.
This is valid both among those with private
Internet access as well as those who do not
have Internet at home (Table 30). There are
slightly fewer respondents in the former group
saying that taxes should be decreased. On
the other hand, there are more respondents
who disagree with decreasing the level of
social services and benefits among those with
private Internet access, even though they know
that the level of taxation would also decrease.
Both a higher level of education and Internet
access available in private homes are related to
a positive attitude towards the effects of social
services and benefits.
