that immigrants are attracted by the social
expenditures; one quarter oppose this statement,
while almost 19% are undecided (Table 11).

countries as a whole, we may conclude
page 162 that Europeans usually believe that
social measures are efficient in terms
of creating social balance in the
population. In addition, they believe that these
services and benefits would also attract people
from other countries.
