SILVER STAR MOUNTAIN ZONING BYLAW 1926, 2004 WHEREAS, the Board of the Regional District of North Okanagan has determined to make the regulations herein contained under the provisions of the “Local Government Act” and the “Statutes of British Columbia” and having due regard for the following considerations: 1. The objectives and policies of the “Silver Star Mountain Official Community Plan Bylaw 1925, 2004”. 2. The promotion of the health, safety, convenience and welfare of the public. 3. The prevention of the overcrowding of the land and the preservation of the amenities unique to any zone. 4. The securing of adequate light, area and access. 5. The value of the land and the nature of its present and prospective use and occupancy. 6. The character of each zone, the character of buildings already erected and the suitability of the zone for particular uses. 7. The conservation of property values. AND WHEREAS all persons who might be affected by this bylaw have before the passage thereof been afforded an opportunity to be heard on the matters contained in the bylaw before the Board in accordance with the “Local Government Act”. NOW THEREFORE the Board of the Regional District of North Okanagan in open meeting assembled enacts as follows: DIVISION ONE – SCOPE AND APPLICABILITY Title 101. This bylaw may be cited as the “Silver Star Zoning Bylaw No. 1926, 2004”. Schedule 102. Map Schedule A titled “Silver Star Zoning Bylaw Map Schedule A” including Map #1 and Map #2 is attached hereto and forms part of this bylaw. Applicability 103.
