DIVISION SEVEN<br />

COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT ZONES<br />

701. SILVER WEST COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT ZONE (CD1)<br />

Permitted Uses<br />

(1) Subject to the provisions <strong>of</strong> Division Three <strong>of</strong> this bylaw; and in<br />

consideration <strong>of</strong> land use policies in the “<strong>Silver</strong> <strong>Star</strong> Official Community<br />

Plan”; the following uses and no others shall be permitted in the <strong>Silver</strong><br />

West Comprehensive Development Zone:<br />

Principle Uses<br />

(a)<br />

The principle uses permitted in this zone are as follows:<br />

(i) a minimum 20 unit recreational vehicle campground; and<br />

(ii) a snowmobile rental and storage facility with snowmobile<br />

trails to connect to recreational opportunities at <strong>Silver</strong><br />

<strong>Star</strong> Provincial Park or other lands.<br />

Ancillary Uses<br />

(b)<br />

Ancillary uses are permitted only in combination with the<br />

development <strong>of</strong> a principle use cited above in Section 701(1)(a) <strong>of</strong><br />

this bylaw. The ancillary uses in this zone are as follows:<br />

(i) Single Dwellings.<br />

(ii) Duplex Dwellings.<br />

(iii) Townhouses.<br />

(iv) Accessory Residential Buildings.<br />

(v) Short Term Rental Accommodation Use.<br />

(vi) Gas Station Use with or without other fuel retailing.<br />

(vii) Convenience Store Use which may include hardware<br />

and other convenience products retailing.<br />

(viii) Recreation Equipment Rentals.<br />

Recreational Vehicle Campground<br />

(2) A recreational vehicle campground shall be connected to a community<br />

water and sewer service and notwithstanding Section 303 <strong>of</strong> this bylaw,<br />

<strong>Silver</strong> <strong>Star</strong> <strong>Zoning</strong> <strong>Bylaw</strong> Page 39
