Anson Bailey has spent the last eighteen years working in both
industry and professional services across a number of countries
in the Asia Pacific region. Anson joined KPMG in Hong Kong in
1999 and is currently a Partner in the Hong Kong office heading
up business development across the KPMG China Practice.
He has undertaken strategic consulting roles and market
assessments for multinational corporations in the region with
experience in a wide range of sectors including retail, food and
beverage, FMCG, product sourcing, technology, consumer
electronics, software, outsourcing and other Consumer Markets
sectors. He is responsible for a number of revenue programs
focused on premium accounts including a number of global and
national consumer markets accounts in the Retail, FMCG and
Consumer Markets arena.
Anson is currently involved in driving a number of thought
leadership and executive briefing initiatives across Consumer
Markets Today, he helps to drive the business development
team and is focused on providing the best in client care service
whilst acting as the Client Services Director on several
multinational accounts in the consumer markets arena.
Alain LE COUEDIC

Alain Le Couédic is Partner and Vice President of Roland Berger
Strategy Consultants Greater China, and Head of Roland Berger's
Hong Kong office. He has 17 years of professional consulting
experience, of which the past 13 years in Asia, serving both local
and multinational clients.
During his consulting career, Mr. Le Couédic has helped clients in
North America, Europe and Asia on issues related to strategy,
organization, operations, M&A and private equity.
Prior to joining Roland Berger, Mr. Le Couédic was a Partner and
Managing Director of another leading international consulting firm
in their Financial Institutions practice, and was also leading their
Organization practice in Greater China. In addition, he headed
their Hong Kong and Taipei offices.
Alain holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, New York
and a Master of Science degree (Ingénieur) from Institut National
Agronomique, Paris.

Steve Chan began his career in 1981 at FAIRCHILD
SEMICONDUCTOR LTD in Hong Kong, then as the Purchasing
Manager at PLAYMATES INDUSTRIAL CO. LTD IN 1985. In
1988, Steve became Materials Manager for TONKA KENNER
PARKER TOYS LTD. Two years later, Steve joined PHILIPS to
hold different positions in the Purchasing and Supply Chain
fields. In 2004 he was nominated General Manager
Purchasing, then General Manager for the South China
Operations in 2006. Steve was holding the capacity of VP,
Regional Supply Officer for Asia for Philips Consumer Lifestyle
from 2007 to 2010.
Steve Chan joined SEB Asia on October 4,2010. He brought
with him a clear vision to SEB Asia. “Be the proactive and
entrusted partner of Business Units and Functional Leaders in
driving and delivering integral performances for global SEB
businesses.”
SEB Asia contribute to the key processes involved in
developing products sourced in Asia and deliver to the markets

Paul CLERC-RENAUD

Born in France in 1947, Paul CLERC-RENAUD graduated from
Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in 1970.
After setting up and managing subsidiaries for the French
SACA group in Australia and New Zealand, he came to Hong
Kong in 1977 and has been a permanent resident ever since.
Since 1980, he has been the Managing Director of the Fargo
Group with head office in Hong Kong and offices in the P.R.C.,
Vietnam and India. Fargo is a Trading and investment
organisation specialising in Euro-China Trade, sourcing ladies
lingerie and telecom products in China and distributing and
manufacturing industrial equipment and supplies, telecom and
lifestyle products in China, Viet Nam and India. It also operates
electronic luggage lockers installations in Hong Kong and
Macao.
He is a Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur de la France (French
Foreign Trade Advisor) and Honorary President of the French
Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Hong Kong chairing
their China Committee. He is a past Chaiman of the Europe
Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber and currently
director of the Pasteur Hong Kong University Research center.
He has been a Knight in the French National Order of Merit
since 1993 and a Knight in the French Legion of Honour Order
since 2000.

Valery Cussenot graduated from Institut Commercial de Nancy
and from Ecole Centrale Paris, with a dual background in
Finance and in Technology.
He moved to Hong Kong in 1994 and joined Asia Pacific
Inspection (API) as Deputy General Manager in 1994. In 1999,
Valery joined Carrefour Global Sourcing office in Hong Kong as
a Quality Manager. In Carrefour, he developed and deployed
QA, QC systems and processes as well as a CSR program,
covering Hard goods, Textile, Electronics and Food categories
across Asia sourcing footprint.
Valery Cussenot then joined KSO (Kingfisher Sourcing
Organization) in 2004 as a Regional Category Manager for
Electrical & Lighting Category. In 2007, he took the position of
Head of Commercial for KSO Global Network. Since 2009, he is
the General Manager for KSO Hong Kong office, covering
Home Improvement Categories (Bathroom, Kitchen, Seasonal,
Decorative, Flooring, Lighting) and the satellite offices in
Vietnam, India, China and Indonesia.

Anne Laure Descours has 22 years of experience in textile
purchase, including 15 in Asia, centered on sourcing atnd the
management of multicultural teams.
Since May 2005, Anne Laure has been Senior Vice President,
European Market at Li & Fung (Trading) Hong Kong,
responsible for the division covering the French and Italian
markets, and in charge of sourcing in Asia, the Mediterranean
countries and Europe.
Before that, she was consultant for Hong Kong Executive

Xavier Farcot is currently Executive Vice President for
Coface Asia Pacific in charge of the Services, and
stationed in Hong Kong. Under his leadership, his team is
responsible for producing and managing business
information, assessing quality and monitoring of Coface

support to other Coface Business lines. He also acts as
