Hong Kong Echo magazine is the French Chamber in Hong Kong's
flagship publication.
This English language quarterly magazine is distributed to members and
other business leaders via airport lounges (Air France, British Airways,
Cathay Pacific Airways), select Hong Kong hotels, and official French
institutions (French Consulate in Hong Kong & the French Chambers of
Commerce in France). In total, 6,500 copies are distributed. Hong Kong
Echo has been published by HACHETTE FILIPACCHI (publisher of Elle,
Car & Driver) since 2001.
Inside Hong Kong Echo
Hong Kong Echo provides high-quality, focused editorial coverage of
interest to the Hong Kong business community. Part of this publication is
written by legal, fiscal and industry experts drawn from the membership
of the Chamber and from the international business community in Hong
Kong. We also ask academics, freelance journalists and officials to
contribute.
Feature articles: Published in full color, each 64-page issue focuses on
a specific theme, with most of the articles centering around that theme.

The French Chamber
at a glance
Created in 1986, the French Chamber in Hong Kong is today the second largest European Chamber in Hong Kong and one of the largest
French Chambers in Asia-Pacific. With more than 660 members of various nationalities, one of our strengths is to be able to respond to
the needs of both large corporations as well as SMEs.
Our mission is to contribute to developing and fostering economic, commercial and financial relations between France and Hong Kong. To
achieve this, we provide a comprehensive information platform, promote Members' interests to industry leaders and key decision-makers,
and offer an extensive range of communication tools. In short, we connect people, ideas and actions.
The French Chamber offers 15 dynamic and business-oriented committees or working groups for our members to take part in, giving
them opportunity to share their professional experience and obtain industry updates.
We also organize over 70 events per year, providing a wide range of corporate seminars, workshops and social gatherings. Our main
goal is to develop a platform on which members can forge better relationships with the business community and keep informed of
developments in their field of interest.
The French Chamber and the Hong Kong Business
Community
With over one third of our membership being composed of
non-French nationals, the French Chamber takes much pride
in the diversity of its member companies. The dynamism
and vitality of our members has been instrumental in
making our Chamber an organization that is well-known and
appreciated by a great number of business people in Hong
Kong and in China. This largely explains Hong Kong Echo’s
circulation of 6,500 copies, a number that greatly exceeds
our member base.
