The Double Back Compressor does what you’d expect a compressor to<br />

compressor unique is that it allows some of the uncompressed sound—the snap<br />
of the string—to “double back” into the compressor output preserving the essential<br />
essence and sensation of a string being plucked. And it’s extremely quiet.<br />
