Dear Seton Supporters:
The title of our annual report, “Love
is Creative Unto Infinity”, captures
the essence of everything that you
will read in these pages:
– The love of our parents, who are
paying for tuition during difficult
economic times, that creates a
Field of Dreams for us as well as
supports a prize worthy music
program and victorious athletic
teams.
– The love of our faculty and staff
that creates an excellent academic
program, a deeply spiritual
environment, and a host of
co-curricular activities.
– The love of our donors and
our alumnae that creates
numerous new scholarships for
students, extensive financial aid,
renovations to our buildings, and
a magnificent 50th anniversary
Gala that included our
talented students.
This year we did not quite reach
infinity, but we did reach our 50th
year milestone as the only school
for young women in Prince George’s
County with a strong enrollment,
stable finances, and a supportive
community. This leads me to
believe that infinity, the place where
love and creativity meet and last
forever, is within our reach because
it is indeed the spirit of Elizabeth
Seton High School.
May God continue to give us
“the light to know how to be
creative and the grace to love in all
our deeds”.
