2B Fit chair exercise

form of exercise is a
mixture of arm work
outs, stretches and
dance moves which
can be adapted to
suit each person.

April definitely seemed to be the month for
drag artists here on Camposol! For once I
remembered to get tickets from Rosemary
for the Welcome Group evening before
they sold out and went to The Rich Bitch
performance at Mariano’s, Camposol A.
This famous Benidorm act do not usually
perform in other locations, but Rosemary
somehow managed to persuade them to
come down to Camposol and it really was
an excellent evening enjoyed by all. Well
done Rosemary!
Only a week or so later we went to see
Steve The Spit drag artist at The Steak-
Out on Camposol B. This evening was also
hilarious. At only €5 for the ticket and €5
for an optional good quality basket meal
it was also a great value night out. It was
good to see some new entertainment in the
area. Let’s hope for more of the same this
summer.
When I am out and about on my rounds I
often call into one of our advertisers for a
late breakfast and this month it was The
Market Tavern in Puerto De Mazarrón.
Whilst I was there enjoying my breakfast I
was shown the brand new menu which has
some very tempting dishes on it. I am a
great lover of Mexican food so will definitely
be returning soon to sample some of these.
For many women the thought of a face
lift is too drastic to contemplate, but I am
becoming a fan of the non-surgical facelift
treatment which I have recently had done,
this time at The Salon in Camposol.
Shannon the beautician at The Salon
has combined their Botox facial with the
non-surgical face lift treatment and the
effects are definitely visible immediately.
The treatment is also very relaxing and
lasts almost an hour so it is good value for
money.
Bar La Manchica is in the tiny Spanish
hamlet of La Manchica, it is about 5 minutes
drive from Fuente Alamo. From Las Palas,
take the camino signposted La Manchica.
This former “Casa Rural” recently changed
hands and is under the new management
of Kevin and Jo, also the proprietors of The
Spaniard Inn on the Hacienda Alamo Golf
Resort. Bar La Manchica is set in lovely
rural surroundings and also offers excellent
bed and breakfast accommodation. We
went to a fish and chip evening there
recently and it was superb; homemade
chips and enormous portions of freshly
battered cod; simply delicious. The bar
is open from 5pm on weekdays and from
midday at weekends. There is now Sunday
Roast on offer and the menu is being added
to every day.
