The Trip to Bedar was a complete sell out,
but we promise to return to the restaurant,
and include a visit to Iceland before Christmas.
The Dance at the Golf Club was as usual
a great success and thank you to the
Doghouse Blues Band for a great evening’s
entertainment.
The Cruise to Malta is now fully booked, but
we will take cancellation names just in case.
The Summer Ball this year celebrates
the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee at the Hotel
Costa Costa, Mazarrón on Sunday 3 rd June.
Price 27.50€ to include drinks food and
entertainment from The John Lindo Trio.
Coaches an extra 7€ pp.
On the same day, TJs, Camposol B are having
a Hog Roast and a percentage of the cost
goes to PALS, thanks guys. This year TJs
have designated PALS to receive the benefit
of monies raised from 4 intrepid souls cycling
from Camposol to Madrid and back starting
22 nd September. Sponsorship forms from TJs
or PALS
PALS are Mazarrón area’s oldest expatriate
charity and they raise money to purchase
equipment for the local emergency and health
authorities that normally would be outside
their budget. So far they have donated
equipment to the value of 177,133€. PALS is
an acronym for Protection and Life Saving,
which says it all really, as does the logo
PALS DO IT 4U. In these difficult times we
do appreciate the donations and support we
receive and a special thank you to support
we receive from The Trevi Bar on Camposol
where we sell our tickets each Saturday 11-
1.30pm and to Saralaras in the Puerto de
Mazarrón where we offer the same sales on
each Wednesday 1.30-3pm. Thank you and to
those who throughout the year give support
in many ways.

CAFÉ NEWS
We can confirm that once again the Café
Concert will be at Playa Grande Hotel, Puerto
de Mazarrón on October 6 th . Make a note for an
afternoon of money raising through a musical
mystery tour. We have acceptances from all
sorts of musical artistes and we guarantee
that there is something for everybody and
we are holding the entrance price to 5€ for 6
hours or more of great entertainment,

Grace is 1 of 5 gorgeous
black puppies that were
rescued when they were
just a few days old. They
had been discarded by
a rubbish bin and were
helpless little puppies
close to death. They are
now about 4 months old
and will be big when fully

Smudge was born 1st
May 2011 to a chocolate
point Siamese. Quite a
little character and can
be talkative. He has been
brought up with other
cats and dogs. Not really
suitable as a house cat or
to live in a flat as he is
used to wide open spaces. Call: 655027676
Josefina was hit by a
car when she was found
a few months ago, but
thankfully no bones were
broken. She was born on
the 10/11/2010 and is a
little nervous when first
meeting someone but
very cuddly. She is good
with other dogs and cats
and needs someone to
