Condado de Alhama is set in a beautiful
location beneath the stunning backdrop of
the Carrascoy and Espuña mountains, only
a short drive to the beautiful beaches of
Mazarrón and Bolnuevo and 30 minutes south
of the city of Murcia. The airports at Alicante
and San Javier are easily accessible with good
motorways. This unique area of Spain is now
known for its micro climate and its great mix
of scenery. Once here, you will fall in love
with its charm, values and beauty and with an
average of 320 days of sunshine a year it is
said to be one of the healthiest climates in the
world. There is shortly to be a new airport at
Corvera, due to open late 2012 or early 2013
which is even closer to Condado de Alhama
than San Javier.
The new Paramount Theme Park and Lifestyle
Centre due to open in 2015 will also be within
minutes of this location.
Condado de Alhama is just off the RM3
Motorway about 15 minutes from Puerto de
Mazarrón. If you are driving from the Murcia
direction, or the Almeria direction on the A7
Motorway, take the Alhama de Murcia South
turning towards Mazarrón on the RM2/3. If
you are coming from San Javier, follow the
Motorway to Fuente Alamo and continue on
the RM2 until the RM3 which will take you to
Condado de Alhama.
Polaris World introduced Murcia to the rest of
Europe with its high class Jack Nicklaus golf
resorts which attracted buyers and tourists
by the thousands to the area as a destination
Page 34
of culture, golf and fine living. Condado de
Alhama, the largest of the Polaris World
family, is a resort that is suitable for all ages.
It is a place for relaxation, golf and fine living.
Condado de Alhama has numerous sport
facilities including, golf, tennis, paddleball,
basket ball, squash, 3 football pitches and
21 community swimming pools, each with
a children’s area and playground. The Jack
Nicklaus Signature Golf Course is open every
day and hopefully the new club house will
be constructed shortly. At the moment the
golfers use the Clover Bar located in the
Commercial Centre Al Kasar and The newly
open Bistro Bulgaria.
The other popular bar at Condado is The
Condado Club Bar.
The resort is spread out across a large area
giving everyone that visits the opportunity to
enjoy a peaceful setting. It is designed around
communal landscaped gardens consisting of 3
bedroom ground floor apartments, each with
private front gardens and back terraces, and
2 bedroom 1st floor apartments with large
private roof terraces. Condado de Alhama
is the ideal place for both full time living and
relaxing holidays.
The Clover Bar
This traditional pub is often buzzing with live
entertainment and is located in Al Kasar, the
centre of Condado de Alhama. This boasts
a beautiful setting in Grand Arabic style with a
large palm tree lined water feature where you
can sit and relax. The Clover Bar is built as
a traditional Irish Bar with wooden floors and
has beautiful decoration. The outside seating
area is also very comfortable with excellent
settees on which to relax. You can also enjoy
live sports here on their 4 large TV screens
inside the bar. The Clover Bar is a friendly
authentic bar which welcomes everyone
who comes through the doors and there is a
variety of entertainment to be seen at The
Clover Bar for the coming summer months
so it is well worth a visit.
Bistro Bulgaria
This newly opened Bistro Bulgaria has
seating for over 300 and has brand new state
of the art kitchens including paella kitchen
and very large pizza ovens.
not only offers all the traditional Bulgarian
food, but it also offers pizza, paella and pasta
dishes. There is a good selection of Bulgarian
drinks and cocktails. You can also buy a full
from 10.30am each day.
The Condado Club
Situated next
to the sports
facilities in the
Jardines area,
The Condado
Club is already
a very popular
place to be as
it is designed
for families with
children as there
is a separate
children’s play
area. You can
have a full
English breakfast
or traditional
Spanish Tapas,
sheltered areas out of the sun where you can
relax in the heat of the day. The Condado
Club has friendly English and Spanish
speaking staff, ensuring all customers are
made welcome. They have regular sports
and entertainment nights as well as Zumba
