Come and join “Bet” and “Al” in Paris for
only 5€ in “Teatro Canovero” (formally “Los
Canovas Players”) next production at the end
of May.
The play, “April In Paris”, is a comedy and
is written by playwright John Godber and
portrays Bet
and Al’s antics
from winning
a magazine
competition for a
weekend in Paris,
their journey
across the North
Sea and how
they cope with
the language and
food in Paris to
their return to
their Yorkshire
home.
The performances will be on Friday 25 th May,
Saturday 26 th May and Sunday 27 th May,
curtain up at 8pm each night at The Salon
Theatre in Los Canovas, only 10 minutes
from Camposol. As usual refreshments will be
available in the auditorium before and after
the performance
as well as during
the interval.
Tickets are only
5€ each and
are available
now from
various outlets
throughout
the Mazarrón
and Fuente
Alamo area.

11.30-3.30pm, with the new Harlequin
Community choir at 1pm singing their hearts
out for you. There will be stalls, tombola and

Wednesday May 30 th Menu del Dia at the
Sensol Golf Hotel, Camposol - veg soup/
pate, steak and ale pie/sausage & mash with
onion gravy/two bean goulash, home-made
desserts to follow. Johnny Sparrow provides
the entertainment and the cost is 10€.
Friday June 22 nd Second Grand Auction
at Mariano’s, Camposol A. 10€ for 3 articles
and keep the proceeds! Must be registered
beforehand and brought on the day. Articles
received 9-10am when the public are invited
to view. Gavel down at 1pm. The last was very
successful and showed the need for a regular
auction
June and July will both see Social Meetings on
the first Wednesday of the month at the Cultural
Centre on Camposol B at 1.30pm. These are
free and always have some entertainment and
useful info at them. The last Wednesday in the
month will have the Menu del Dia starting at
1.30pm costing 10€ with entertainment.
August will be time off, but September will see
both Wednesday Socials and the Annual
Black & White Ball in Puerto de Mazarrón.
Tickets can be obtained on a Thursday morning
in Puerto de Mazarrón at Bar Peyma, near
the tourist information or on a Friday outside
the Salud Bar, Camposol B. The new office
on Calle Retama, Camposol C5 is open for
tickets, information and advice on Monday and
Wednesday mornings, 11-1pm and on a Friday
morning for advice and information only.
