The Tropikana Bar/Café new owners Ana
and Neil opened their doors to the public
on the 1 st April. Following a hectic 5 days of
stripping out the old tired Tropikana Bar,
and creating a clean new look, it opened
on time for Sunday lunchtime attended by
many customers who had never been to
the Tropikana Bar before. Many thanks to
our friends, whose efforts ensured that the
opening was on time, particularly to Shirley,
Kevin, Craig, Paul and Jo.
Outdoor Patio area
The new owners want to offer a fresh
approach to providing good food and drink to
its customers.
Menu del Dia of 2 courses including a drink
are offered at an affordable price of 5.50€
every day is proving to be welcomed by those
who wish to try simple Spanish dishes freshly
cooked each day. A typical English menu is
offered as an alternative.
The All Day Breakfast is very popular with
those who want a taste from home.
Newly refurbished bar and kitchen
There is a selection of Tapas available
throughout the day at a modest price,
and we have introduced small portions of
complimentary tapas with each round of
drinks purchased.
Many customers know that Ana is Spanish,
and it is refreshing to have customers coming
into the bar trying out their command of the
Spanish language whilst enjoying the fine
food and drink. Ana and her bi-lingual staff
are very happy to coach those who want
to learn or improve their language skills to
make integrating with our host country a
more rewarding experience. Requests from
customers for Ana to cook meals for special
occasions in the evenings have been catered
for and we are happy to continue with this
service with prior notice.
From May, the bar will be known as Tropic
Ana’s, a mark of the commitment we have to
deliver a personal service to all our customers.
