JJ’s Puppy Rescue Association has been a
Spanish Registered Charity since March 2007
with a Management Committee, Association
Members, Volunteer Helpers and Foster Carers.
Last month we rescued 4 abandoned puppies
and found new homes for 4 puppies. We also
relocated 8 dogs that have been in our foster
kennels for over 3 years to Holland for rehoming
of which 3 have already been homed
and 2 are reserved for new owners. We still
have 25 puppies and dogs in our care which
all need a loving home and some of them
have been in our foster kennels over three
years with very little chance of being homed
locally. To give these dogs the chance they
deserve we are continuing our concerted effort
to find homes for them abroad with the
help of Rescue Organisations in the UK and
Holland. The 1500€ cost of Neutering, Blood
Tests, Vaccinations, Micro-chips and Passports
in preparation for these dogs to go to
their new homes has put a huge strain on our
available funds. To help us raise the funds for
this additional cost we are dependent on public
support and generosity.
Our Charity Shop in Puerto de Mazarrón is
located near the El Arbol Supermarket. The
Shop is staffed entirely by volunteers and we
really need all the public help we can get. Any
unwanted saleable items that can be sold in
our charity shop or table top sales to raise
funds will be gratefully received. We can arrange
for donated items to be collected. We
also need volunteer helpers who can give
some of their free time to work in our Charity
Shop, so if you would like to help, come in
and have a chat with the staff.
