Christmas Comes Early For Hah, Mar<br />

On Friday, October 26 th , the 2 nd HAH Nearly<br />

New Fashion Show was held at La Vereda<br />

Restaurant, Sucina. Some beautiful clothes,<br />

which had all been donated, were modelled by<br />

the ever popular ZIGI and her girls. All the<br />

clothes were then auctioned, and were there<br />

some bargains to be had!<br />

so much time knitting, sewing and making the<br />

gifts, jams, cakes, table decorations etc. They<br />

have then come along today and collectively<br />

raised a staggering 1172€ for HAH. Apart<br />

from this, they also help out where needed<br />

with our clients. Every one of them deserves<br />

a medal!”<br />

Judith Heath (HAH volunteer) added, “<br />

We have thoroughly enjoyed making and<br />

selling our products, as we know that all the<br />

money raised helps so many people who are<br />

struggling with ill health. We have a brilliant<br />

team, and are all extremely proud to be part<br />

of HAH”<br />

Fayre, Fun and Furniture<br />

These were the ingredients that made up the<br />

2 nd HAH Christmas Fayre which was held at<br />

DFS Furniture, San Javier on Friday November<br />

2 nd .<br />

The HAH volunteers also held their 1 st<br />

Christmas Fayre, with nearly all the crafts,<br />

gifts, cards, cakes and jams made by the<br />

volunteers, along with the giant Tombola,<br />

where everyone who bought a ticket won<br />

a gift. Lesley Eburne, HAH founder said, “<br />

The work the team has put into this event is<br />

unbelievable, not only collecting, washing and<br />

ironing the clothes, but they have also spent<br />

The HAH volunteers turned out in force<br />

with their home made crafts, cakes, jams,<br />

mulled wine and Christmas cards, along with<br />

Spectrum Radio, BMW and Lawrence from<br />

Murcia Today, Jill with her beautiful hand-made<br />

glass mosaics, Danny from Time 4 a Change,<br />

and Brenda with her range of Christmas ‘bling’<br />

jewellery. In total, the fantastic sum of 825€<br />

was raised.<br />

said ‘What a great day! The sun shone,<br />

the atmosphere was great, and we were so<br />

impressed with the amount of work that these<br />

volunteers do, not only with their fundraising,<br />

but also with the amount of people that they<br />

help. As a HAH sponsor, we were delighted<br />

to be able to help on the day, and hope to<br />

make this an annual event.<br />
