88 Instruments and controls
1 Sun sensor
2 Cabin temperature sensor
The system has seven sensors:
• Outside air temperature sensor.
• Cabin temperature sensor (above rear
view mirror).
• Sun sensor (mounted on top of the
fascia).
• Two blended air temperature sensors
(located in the front floor vents).
• Two blended air temperature sensors
(located in the outer panel vents).
Note:
The climate control system will not function
properly if the sun sensor is covered.
Panel vent
Panel vents
The air vents can be adjusted so that airflow
can be directed as desired. In winter, for
instance, the outer vents can be directed
onto the door windows for enhanced
demisting.
The amount of air delivered via the panel
vents can be individually controlled by the
regulator on each one. The climate control
system works best if the panel vents are
open. If you find the air cold or that it is
draughty, start by directing the air away
from the body.
