TCS OFF or
StabiliTrak ® OFF 3
indicator light
WARNING
The system improves ride comfort and
safety during normal driving. It must
however not be regarded as a system
to enable the driver to maintain higher
speeds. The same precautions as
normal for safe cornering and driving
on slippery roads must be adopted, see
pages 148/ 150.
The symbol lights when:
• a fault has been detected and has therefore
been switched off
• there is a fault in the ABS system
The following message appears in DIC at
the same time:
or
Traction control failure.
Contact service.
Stability control failure.
Contact service.
Have the system checked at a workshop.
We recommend that you contact an authorised
Cadillac workshop.

SPORT mode indicator 3
SPORT indicator light lights up when the
SPORT button is pressed, see page 144.
In SPORT mode, gear changes in the automatic
gearbox occur at higher speeds (rpm)
(engine and gearbox have sportier characteristics).
Cars equipped with CDC (continuous
Damping control) have slightly harder
damping adapted to the sportier characteristics
of the car.
SPORT mode is disengaged by pressing
the SPORT button or when the engine is
switched off.
Indicator, glow plug
(cars with diesel engine)
This light comes on when the ignition switch
is turned to position 3 and the temperature
of the coolant is below +5 °C. Start the
engine once the indicator light has gone out;
see page 128.
