This means that the switch on the driver’s door will be rendered inoperative and the car must be unlocked with the remote control. TSL will be deactivated if you insert the remote control into the ignition switch, returning the power supply to the driver’s door switch. The doors cannot however be opened from outside the car. If the car is left with one or more doors open, the interior lighting will be switched off automatically after 20 minutes. This is to prevent the battery from running flat. Also, if the car has electrically adjustable seats, these will cease to operate. Child safety locks The rear doors are equipped with child safety locks that are operated by means of a catch adjacent to the door lock. Insert a screwdriver or the traditional key (in the remote control) and turn 45°. When the child safety lock is in the locked position, the door can only be opened from outside the car.
