The air coming from the floor outlets may be slightly warmed. Use this mode to remove fog from the windshield or side windows while also heating the vehicle. The A/C compressor will automatically operate in this mode if the temperature is above 4°C (40°F). The recirculation function cannot be activated in this mode. Do not drive the vehicle unless all windows are clear of fog, snow, ice or anything else that may obstruct your vision. Defrosting Press to get fog or ice off the windshield and side windows. This mode divides airflow between the windshield defroster vents, the floor outlets and the side window defroster vents. The A/C compressor will automatically operate in this mode if the temperature is above 4°C (40°F). The recirculation function cannot be activated in this mode. Do not drive the vehicle unless all windows are clear of fog, snow, ice or anything else that may obstruct your vision. Recirculation Press the recirculation button to recirculate the air in your vehicle. This is useful for keeping dust and odors out or when quick cooling is desired. The recirculation symbol will appear on the display when this feature is active. The A/C compressor comes on while the system is in the recirculation mode. Press the button again or turn off the ignition to stop the recirculation function. The recirculation function cannot be activated in a heating, defogging or defrosting mode. – 97 . . .
