NOTICE Continuing to drive your vehicle with an overheated engine can result in severe engine damage. If you get an overheat warning, stop as soon as possible. See "Engine Overheating" in Section 5 for more information. • ENGINE POWER IS REDUCED This message indicates that the engine cooling system temperature is too hot and that the system has further entered the engine overheat protection mode. This also can affect the vehicle's ability to accelerate. If this message appears with no reduction in vehicle performance, proceed to your destination.
