If the cable is visible, tighten the cable by turning the wheel wrench clockwise until it clicks or skips twice. The cable cannot be overtightened. Loosen the cable by turning the wheel wrench counterclockwise three or four turns. Tighten and loosen the cable at least two times. If the tire lowers to the ground, continue with Step 12 of this procedure. If the tire does not lower to the ground, continue with this procedure. 3. Turn the wrench counterclockwise until approximately 15 cm of cable is exposed. 4. Stand the wheel blocks on their shortest end, with the backs facing each other. 5. Set the bottom edge of the jack on the wheel blocks, separating them so that the jack is balanced securely. . . . 384

The secondary latch should release. 6. Attach the jack handle, extension and wheel wrench to the jack. Place the jack (with the wheel blocks) under the vehicle towards the front of the rear bumper. The spare tire is now balancing on the jack. 10. Lower the jack by turning the wrench counterclockwise. Keep lowering the jack until the spare tire slides off the jack or is hanging by the cable. – – 7. Center the jack lift point under the center of the spare tire. 8. Turn the wrench clockwise to raise the jack until it lifts the end fitting. CAUTION If the spare tire does not slide off the jack completely, make sure no one is behind you or on either side of you when you pull the jack out from under the spare. the jack out from under the<br />

spare. Someone standing too<br />
