Put things in the cargo area of your vehicle and try to spread the weight evenly. Never stack things inside the vehicle any higher than the seatbacks. Do not leave unsecured child restraints inside the vehicle. Try to secure anything that is carried inside the vehicle. Do not leave a seat folded down unless you have to. It is very important to know how much weight your vehicle can carry. This weight is called the Vehicle Capacity Weight. This figure includes the weight of all occupants, cargo and all nonfactory-installed options. NOTICE Your vehicle’s warranty does not cover parts or components that fail because of overloading. CAUTION The components of your vehicle are designed to provide satisfactory service if the vehicle is not loaded in excess of the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating. ORIGINAL SIZE Tire and Loading Information Label COLD TIRE PRESSURE SEE OWNER’S MANUAL FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This label shows the proper size and recommended inflation pressures for your vehicle’s tires. See "Tires" in Section 4 for more information. The tire information label is on the rear pillar of the driver's door frame. It also tells how many people can ride in your vehicle and gives you the Vehicle Capacity Weight. Do not exceed the maximum vehicle capacity when loading your vehicle. See "Certification Label" for additional loading information. Also, see the following for more information: • Off-Road Driving Certification Label This label, located on the rear edge of the driver’s door, shows the size of your original tires and the inflation pressures needed to obtain your vehicle’s Gross Vehicle Weight Rating. The Gross Vehicle Weight Rating is the maximum permissible loaded weight of the vehicle. It includes the weight of the vehicle, all occupants, fuel and cargo, as well as the weight of the trailer tongue if you are pulling a trailer.
