CAUTION<br />

When the vehicle is started with<br />

a child restraint installed in the<br />

front passenger seat, the "<strong>of</strong>f"<br />

indicator should appear in the<br />

passenger sensing system status<br />

bar (located on the overhead<br />

console) after the system has<br />

completed its self-check.<br />

If the "on" indicator appears<br />

when you have installed a child<br />

restraint in the right front<br />

passenger seat, it means that<br />

the front passenger's air bag<br />

system is still active.<br />

earlier in this section.<br />

Use the following charts to determine which seats in the<br />

vehicle are suitable for the carriage <strong>of</strong> child restraint systems.<br />
