reporting included additional<br />

elements of activity (e.g. the<br />

skate park and catering<br />

facilities). There is no accurate<br />

method of capturing this<br />

information and therefore the<br />

current figures do not include<br />

these areas of service.<br />

• WLCT has also recognised<br />

areas for improvement in<br />

relation to data collection from<br />

an operational perspective (i.e.<br />

ensuring all customers swipe<br />

into the centre registering a visit<br />

and accurately recording<br />

participation).<br />

implemented successfully at Abbey<br />

will also be extended to Tadcaster<br />

Leisure Centre, ensuring a<br />

consistency in the standards<br />

offered. Tadcaster has over 350<br />

fitness members, but we are<br />

hoping to grow this with increased<br />

promotional activity.<br />

Target was not achieved at the<br />

centre. This can be attributed to:<br />

• The loss of Quarter 1 data due<br />

to implementation of the new<br />

customer relation management<br />

system.<br />

• Closure of the site for over 3<br />

weeks whilst refurbishment<br />

works were undertaken.<br />

This will not<br />

be a stand<br />

along KPI in<br />

2011/12 but<br />

will be<br />

included as<br />

commentary<br />

in LE-LI001<br />
