The Planning Officer presented a report which has been referred to the Planning Committee for a Decision as the applicant for the proposal is Selby District Council. The Planning Officer proposal was to change of use from car park to a public pay and display car park at the Old Civic Centre Car Park, Portholme Road, Selby. It was explained that the key considerations for the application were the principle of the development, sustainable development, design, layout and scale, residential amenity, impact on the highway network, flood risk and drainage. The Planning Officer explained that proposed development was in accordance with the Development Plan and the proposals therefore considered acceptable subject to the conditions detailed within this report. The Committee debated the application and a vote was taken. RESOLVED: i) To receive and note the report. ii) To APPROVE the application subject to the conditions detailed at Paragraph 2.12 in the report.
