Cardiac rehab can
make a difference.
Cardiac rehab includes exercise, education,
life. Together with medical and surgical
treatments, cardiac rehab can help you recover
faster and gain strength, gradually increase
your exercise tolerance, reduce risk factors to
help prevent future heart problems and provide
valuable support.
Cardiac Rehab helps you to recognize and
change unhealthy habits and establish new,
healthier ones. Your rehab may last from
4-12 weeks, and it is important to complete
the recommended plan.
You can benefit from cardiac rehab if you have
had a heart attack or heart failure, have angina
or have had angioplasty, coronary artery bypass
or valve surgery.
Almost everyone with heart disease can benefit
from some type of cardiac rehab. No one is too
old or too young, and women and men benefit
equally.
How does
cardiac rehab work?
future heart problems. The cardiac rehab team
