Introduction<br />

To access the module programming login using a valid installer code and then select [MENU,<br />

4, 1]. You will then have a menu of modules that you can program in the Protégé System.<br />

Modules are an important part of the system and are used to connect the system to Users<br />

(LCD Keypad Expander), Zones (Zone Expander), Card Reading Devices (Reader Expander)<br />

and Programmable Outputs (PGM Expander).<br />

To access the LCD keypad module programming login using a valid installer code and then<br />

select [MENU, 4, 1, 1]. The screen displays “LCD keypad to modify” as shown in the<br />

following example.<br />

Every time you press the Enter key, the next screen appears. The different screens are<br />

described in the following sub-sections. Programming the LCD Keypad allows you to set the<br />

polling time of the module as well as options related to the control of information and the<br />

display seen by users on the keypad.<br />
