Zone(s) Open Display<br />

• If a zone is not closed and secure, the keypad immediately beeps and displays the first<br />

open zone.<br />

• The keypad then automatically scrolls through the different possible actions that the<br />

user is allowed to take to continue with the arming process.<br />

Press [ARM] to<br />

Re-test zone(s)<br />

• Press the [ARM] key to retest all the zones. Any exit zone with the exit delay or delay<br />

zone type programmed will not prevent the system from arming if the Exit Zone option<br />

is enabled. A bypassed zone will not prevent the system from arming unless the<br />

number of bypassed zone(s) exceeds the maximum number allowed for the selected<br />

area. To program a maximum number bypassed zones that an area can have refer to<br />

the Bypass Count option in Area Programming on Page XX.<br />

Press [] for<br />

• Press the [] key, to scroll through the zones that remain open when arming the area.<br />

Press [FORCE] to<br />

force arm area.<br />

• If the zone is still open and the area disarmed, you can force the area to arm. Press<br />

the [FORCE] key to force arm the area. Force arming must be enabled for the area<br />

being controlled and the user must have access to this operation. Refer to the Force<br />

Arming section on page 31 for more information.<br />

System Trouble<br />

• Press [MENU, 7] to access the bypass menu. Accessing the bypass menu allows you<br />

to bypass zones and trouble zones. Refer to the section Bypassing Zones on Page XX<br />

for more information.<br />

When arming the system, if a general, system or access trouble is present, the keypad<br />

momentarily displays a trouble message and returns to the Area Status screen.<br />
