A holiday when active will have a holiday group(s) associated with it. If the period does not have any holiday group settings then it will not function on the day that the holiday is valid. The process is an and process, that is if any of the holiday group options are valid and any of the period holiday group settings are in common with the programmed value the schedule will operate.
