To modify the panel IP gateway use the decimal entry from (000 to 255), use the keypad as<br />

explained in section Entering Decimal Numbers on Page 405 and press [ENTER]. Setting an<br />

address of 255 will disable the communication.<br />

Panel Upload ID<br />

The panel upload ID is used as a security key in combination with the host verify ID for<br />

communication with the Protégé System Management Suite. The upload and host ID keys<br />

prevent the remote connection of a Protégé System Management Suite other than that which<br />

has the same 32 bit keys.<br />

To modify the panel upload id, use the keypad as explained in section Entering Hexadecimal<br />

Numbers on Page 405 and press [ENTER].<br />

Host Verify ID<br />

The host verify ID is used as a security key in combination with the panel upload ID for<br />

communication with the Protégé System Management Suite. The upload and host ID keys<br />

prevent the remote connection of a Protégé System Management Suite other than that which<br />

has the same 32 bit keys.<br />

Module UDP Port<br />

This is the UDP port that all Ethernet enabled modules will communicate with the Protégé<br />

System <strong>Controller</strong>. When the UDP port is changed all modules will need to be updated with<br />

the correct port.<br />

To modify the port (000 to 65565), use the keypad as explained in section Entering Decimal<br />

Numbers on Page 405 and press [ENTER].<br />

Touch Screen UDP Port<br />

This is the UDP port that Protégé Touch Screen Keypads (<strong>PRT</strong>-TLCD) with the Protégé System<br />

<strong>Controller</strong> over. Touch Screens also communicate over the Module UDP port programmed<br />

above for basic module functions. When the UDP port is changed all modules will need to be<br />

updated with the correct port.<br />
