Option 1 - 8 - Reserved Reserved. Reserved. It is recommended not to enable/disable or modify the settings of reserved options. Protégé Hotkeys The Protégé Hotkeys service allows the Protégé PC Hotkey application to communicate with the System Controller to control zones, PGMs, Door etc. This service allows the ability to open a door, a zone etc. from a computer keyboard by pushing a special hotkey combination. To program the Protégé Hotkeys Service ensure that the service that has been selected is halted. Press the [ENTER] key until the display shows the service type selection screen. SV001 Ser Type Hotkeys Use the [1] and [3] keys to scroll the service types until you reach the Hotkeys selection and press [ENTER]. For more information about the list control data entry refer to the section List Control Data Entry on Page 406. Service Mode The service mode determines how this service operates with the system controller. By default a service is set to start with the operating system. Setting a service to "Start With The Operating System" (Start With O/S) allows the service to operate automatically, if the system controller is reset or restarts. Manual control of the service can be set by using the Manual option for the service mode. SV001 Ser Mode Start with O/S Use the [1] and [3] keys to scroll the available operating modes and press [ENTER] to select the operating mode displayed. For more information about the list control data entry refer to the section List Control Data Entry on Page 406. Communication Format The commincation format defines the method of communcication between the System Controller and the PC Hotkeys Application. SV001 Com Format UDP Use the [1] and [3] keys to scroll the available format and press [ENTER] to select the format displayed. For more information about the list control data entry refer to the section List Control Data Entry on Page 406. SV001 Com port: 09647 To modify the port configuration use the keypad as explained in section Entering Decimal Numbers on Page 405 and Press [ENTER] to save the modified data. Encryption Type The encryption type defines the method of encryption on the data sent between the PC Hotkeys application and the System Controller. SV001 Encryption Default Use the [1] and [3] keys to scroll the encryption type selection and press [ENTER] to select the type displayed. For more information about the list control data entry refer to the section List Control Data Entry on Page 406. Encryption Key When AES 128, 192 or 256 bit Encryption is selected this defines the AES key that is used. SV001 Crypt Key To modify or enter a new key use the keypad as explained in section Entering Text and Names on Page 406 and press [ENTER]. Door Group When programmed this door group will restrict the doors that can be controlled by this service. If the door is not in this door group it will not be controlled. SV001 Door Group None Use the [1] and [3] keys to scroll the door group selection and press [ENTER] to select the door group displayed. For more information about the list control data entry refer to the section List Control Data Entry on Page 406. PGM Range Start When programmed the PGM range start defines the first PGM that can be controlled by this service. Only PGM’s that are within the range (defined below) can be controlled by this service (unless the PGM is set to –000:00).
