Service Mode<br />

The service mode determines how this service operates with the system controller. By default<br />

a service is set to start with the operating system. Setting a service to "Start With The<br />

Operating System" (Start With O/S) allows the service to operate automatically, if the system<br />

controller is reset or restarts. <strong>Manual</strong> control of the service can be set by using the <strong>Manual</strong><br />

option for the service mode.<br />

Use the [1] and [3] keys to scroll the available operating modes and press [ENTER] to select<br />

the operating mode displayed. For more information about the list control data entry refer to<br />

the section List Control Data Entry on Page 406.<br />

Reporting Protocol<br />

The reporting protocol defines how the IP communication data will be sent to the monitoring<br />

station. Various protocols are supported to allow the most comprehensive solution.<br />

Patriot LS30<br />

Function<br />

Armor IP will communicate to the Armor IP server software<br />

running on a remotely connected server. The Amour IP<br />

Server provides a standard Ademco 685 output and allows<br />

routing and redirection of signals to other reception devices<br />

such as E-Mail, SMS Messaging and Websites. The Armor IP<br />

software is designed to be used with a Concentrator<br />

operating in the central station control room.<br />

CID Over IP communicates a Contact ID message using the<br />

SIA DC09 specification format to any receiver that supports<br />

the SIA DC09 specification. SIA DC09 Specification is<br />

currently not released as a formal specification and is<br />

subject to change.<br />

SIA Over IP communicates a SIA Level 2 message using the<br />

SIA DC09 specification format to any receiver that supports<br />

the SIA DC09 specification. SIA DC09 Specification is<br />

currently not released as a formal specification and is<br />

subject to change.<br />

AlarmNZ IP is the IP Communication format used by Alarm<br />

New Zealand Limited. By default the AlarmNZ IP service will<br />

use the Contact ID reporting format. Information is sent<br />

using a login and password and then event information in a<br />

ASCII comma separated data format.<br />

Patriot LS30 Protogol is the IP Communication format used<br />

by Patriot Systems central station automation application.<br />

By default the Patriot LS30 service will use a form of<br />

Contact ID reporting. Information is sent using a<br />

proprietary format and to obtain details the user should<br />
