Communications Port Parity<br />

The communications port parity defines the parity configuration for the communication with<br />

the GSM Modem. This should not be changed from default.<br />

SV001 Parity<br />

Use the [1] and [3] keys to scroll the communication parity options and press [ENTER] to<br />

select the parity displayed. For more information about the list control data entry refer to the<br />

section List Control Data Entry on Page 406.<br />

Data Options<br />

The data configure various communication settings that affect the operation of the Intercom<br />

Interface protocol.<br />

Option 1 – Log Modem Communication Events<br />

Enabled the service will log communication events that occur on the .<br />

Report IP Service<br />

The Report IP Service allows the Protégé System controller to send alarm and activation<br />

information over an IP connected network. The Report IP Service supports multiple formats<br />

and allows the connection to third party reporting if required.<br />

To program the Report IP Service ensure that the service that has been selected is halted.<br />

Press the [ENTER] key until the display shows the service type selection screen.<br />
