Phone Number Two<br />

The secondary phone number will be dialed by the contact ID service if a connection with the<br />

central station can not be made on the primary phone number. This may be dialled after the<br />

total number of attempts is reached on the primary or sequential until the total number of<br />

attempts is reached for the primary and secondary numbers. The sequence of telephone<br />

number dialling is limited by the number of dialling attempts and the method of dialling that is<br />

configured (alternate or sequential).<br />

Backup Phone Number<br />

The backup phone number will be dialed by the contact ID service if a connection with the<br />

central station can not be made on either the primary or secondary phone number. This will<br />

be dialled after the total number of attempts is reached on the primary and secondary<br />

numbers. The backup number will be dialled for the configured number of dialling attempts<br />

programmed for the service. For information on the dialing sequence refer to the section<br />

sequential dialing attemps on page XX and alternate dialling attempts on page XX.<br />

The dial options configure the service as to how it is meant to dial when a reportable event<br />

has been generated.<br />

Option 1 - Alternate Dialing Configuration<br />

Enabled the dialer will use the alternate dialing method, refer to the<br />

alternate dialing section on page XX.<br />

Disabled the dialer will use sequential dialing method, refer to the<br />

sequential dialing section on page XX.<br />
