Floor<br />

Unlock late to open will only operate if the elevator is configured for<br />

destination reporting and a <strong>PRT</strong>-PX16-DRI is present.<br />

Disabled the floor will follow the floor schedule if programmed.<br />

Option 2 – Validate Schedule Every Minute<br />

Enabled the floor state will be checked against the schedule every minute<br />

and change state accordingly.<br />

Disabled the floor will unlock at the start time of the schedule and lock at<br />

the end time. The floor will not be controlled during this time by the<br />

schedule.<br />

Option 3 – Follow Area Status<br />

Enabled the floor will follow the status of the area. If the area is armed the<br />

floor will lock and if the area is disarmed the floor will unlock.<br />

Disabled the floor will not follow the area status.<br />

Option 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 - Reserved<br />

It is recommended not to enable/disable or modify the settings of reserved options.<br />

Each floor is assigned a unique floor number in the Protégé System. Each elevator can have a<br />

maximum of 128 floors. Floors are given a name that is used when generating events and<br />

reporting information.<br />

Floor to<br />

modify: FL001<br />

To access elevator programming, login using a valid code that has access to the floor<br />

programming menu and then select [MENU, 4, 5, 3]. The screen will then prompt you to<br />

"Select a Floor to modify" requesting that you enter a floor number. Type the appropriate 3-<br />

digit floor number or use the [] and [] keys to scroll the available floors. When the desired<br />

floor number appears on the screen, press [ENTER] to program the selected floor. The<br />

maximum number of floors that can be programmed is limited by your system’s memory and<br />

configured profile.<br />

To browse the floors by name press [ENTER] when prompted for a floor number to modify<br />

and then use the [] and [] keys to scroll the available floors by their name.<br />

Selecting a Floor to Modify<br />

Each floor is assigned a unique door number from 001 to 250. Your system will be limited to<br />

specific number of floors that are defined in the selected profile. For information on profiles<br />

refer to the Advanced Programming Section on Page XX.<br />
