Elevator to<br />

modify: EL001<br />

Type the appropriate 3-digit elevator number or use the [] and [] keys to scroll the<br />

available elevator numbers. When the desired elevator number appears on the screen, press<br />

[ENTER] to program the selected elevator number. The maximum number of elevators that<br />

can be programmed is limited by your system’s memory and configured profile.<br />

Elevator Name<br />

If the selected elevator has a name associated (some elevators do not have a name<br />

associated with them) the name programming screen will be shown.<br />

To scroll elevators by name use the [] and [] keys. To modify or enter a new name for the<br />

selected elevator use the keypad as explained in section Entering Text and Names on Page<br />

406 and press [ENTER].<br />

By default the elevator name will be prefixed by an '*' this indicates that the name is an<br />

editable name in the system. Some elevators do not have names, this is limited by the<br />

system memory and the profile configured.<br />

General Options<br />

General options configure the elevator for various operational modes and functions.<br />

EL001 General<br />

To modify options, use the keypad as explained in section Entering Data Options on Page 409.<br />

Option 1 – Destination Reporting Mode Enabled<br />

Enabled the elevator will operate in DRM mode allowing only one button to<br />

be selected by the user when the present their card.<br />

When using the DRM mode the <strong>PRT</strong>-PX16 modules that are used for<br />

elevator control must have a <strong>PRT</strong>-PX16-DRI board attached to allow<br />

the connection of button feedback inputs.<br />

Disabled the elevator will operate in normal mode with one badge activating<br />

the appropriate floor relays for the user.<br />

Option 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 - Reserved<br />
